Abstract: Title: Transverse momentum of J/psi in heavy-ion collisions

Abstract: We calculate transverse momentum spectra of J/psi produced in heavy-ion collisions (RHIC and SPS) with different sets of input spectra (accounting for cold nuclear effects) and different scenarios of in-medium suppression, coalescence and their combination in the framework of Boltzmann transport equation. The sensitivity of final spectra to input spectra and in-medium effects are investigated. Upper and lower limits for the modification of transverse momentum spectra due to various in-medium dissociation mechanisms are estimated. We compare our results to experimental data and discuss their discrimination power for differentiating input parameters and in-medium effects. We also compute the ellipic flow of J/psi for Au-Au collisions at RHIC within our approach.
