Abstract: Identified hadron production at high transverse momentum in p+p and Au+Au collision at =200 GeV in STAR
The identified hadron and spectra at high transverse momentum (\\pt) in p+p collisions
provide a test of perturbative quantum chromodynamics (pQCD) calculations, in
which the inclusive hadron production is described by the convolution of parton distribution functions (PDFs), parton
interaction cross-sections, and fragmentation functions. The spectra also provide a baseline to
study effects of color charge parton energy loss in heavy ion collisions. From minimum-bias triggered p+p
